As one of the most prolific members in the scene right now, Ebano Flowlanski is a machine full of interesting production that was bound to start collaborating on full-length projects more often, something he does with rapper Lil Man in the project Rap Juice, an album that features the beatmaker displaying many sides of his producing abilities while Lil Man flexes many of his lyrical talents. Rap Juice starts with “O.E.C.”, an experimental production by Ebano provides the perfect space for Lil Man to present his spoken word-inspired flow as he reflects on how time in the industry can change people. Afterwards, “Corner Ballads” finds Ebano providing some abstract production, while Lil Man flexes and shows off his seamless control of language and flow. Then “Rap Juice” is a more boom bap-inspired production by Ebano alongside scratches by DJ Mahogany that give Lil Man more space to flex his lyrical muscles while showing his songwriting skills. Next “Feel Da Wrath” follows in the footsteps of the previous track showing Lil Man's skills on a boom bap beat. Later, “Skillz U Lack”shows a bit of a different production by Ebano while Vyppah joins the party and Lil Man again shows off his lyrical skills. Subsequently, “Antisocial” features some dark production by Ebano, while Lil Man reflects on some lessons learned across life. Finally, “The Illest” features a hypnotic sample and some production that's a bit inspired by old school hip hop as Ebano and Lil Man join forces to flex their greatness while reflecting on hip hop culture.
As a whole, Lil Man and Ebano Flowlanski’s Rap Juice is a fantastic project by both artists as they show their production and lyrical greatness in a display of chemistry that will hopefully be featured again in the future.
