As he continues delivering multiple projects across 2022, Ebano Flowlanski recently dropped HARDWARE, a short EP that finds him deviating from the trippy experimentation of his previous two projects and into something influenced by thrillers, action, and gangster films. HARDWARE starts with “ARZENAL”, a hypnotic boom bap instrumental that makes one reflect on gang violence. Afterwards, “KAMPANITA” is an experimental beat rooted in alternative hip hop that feels like part of a thriller film’s score. Successively, “PLOMO INFINITO” is another entrancing boom bap rooted beat that could easily be attached to a thriller or action film’s massive shoot out scene. Finally, “LISTA NEGRA” is a blend of relaxing and hard-hitting boom bap that could be imagined as a part of film montage full of violence like the ending of The Godfather.
In brief, Ebano Flowlanski’s HARDWARE is an interesting compilation of beats that take show listeners once again that Ebano can create movies out of his music, this time focusing on thrillers, action, and gangster films.
