As one of the more active Puerto Rican independent trap artists in the diaspora, Charlie Boldman recently released SHOW $H*T, a short EP that demonstrates his lyrical abilities while presenting aggressive and punk-influenced trap. (cover for the project) Completely produced by Kyrill, SHOW $H*T kicks off with “17wase,” an experimental trap tune that mixes elements of bravado, storytelling and emotional lyrics, which will definitely have listeners moving in one way or another. Then, the short EP finishes with “Poptart,” a song that will definitely play well in dance floor, moshpit and exercise playlists as Boldman continues to expand his sound. (picture of the artist as found on his Soundcloud) With SHOW $H*T, Charlie Boldman continues to grow as an artist as he experiments with a different producer while keeping his storytelling and bravado intact.
